The National Defence College Officers’ Wives Association has commissioned an upgraded vocational training centre in Ushafa, Abuja, as part of efforts to promote economic empowerment within the barracks community. Commissioned by the President of the Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association, Mernan Femi Oluyede, the facility is expected to provide practical and certified vocational training while promoting entrepreneurship, self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods for families of personnel and other beneficiaries.
