– Jaundice
– Confusion (hepatic encephalopathy)
– Easy bruising
– Low blood sugar
Nursing Actions:
– Give lactulose
– Monitor AST, ALT, ammonia, bilirubin
– Watch LOC + signs of GI bleeding
