The Nelson County Board of Education met Tuesday, Jan. 17th, to consider approval of the bid package on the Thomas Nelson High School project and to approve moving forward on the New Haven School renovations.

When the board voted against accepting the Thomas Nelson bids, it appeared that the long-discussed Community Campus model was dead. It wasn't until it was revealed that the New Haven School renovations were actually dependent on the Community Campus changes that board revisited the Thomas Nelson big packages and voted 3-2 to approve them.
