Nazo is a lie. No I'm not joking. The infamous mystery hedgehog Nazo that started in the conception of Sonic X. That spawned many user created fanworks was just confirmed to be nothing more than an early concept for an Sonic X version of Super Sonic. I kid you not. Takashi Iizuka head of Sonic Team said himself that Nazo was a beta concept for Supersonic that never made it into the show. Keep in mind, people have been wondering the origin of Nazo for the better part of Twelve years now. It brings up the question to why we never decided to ask sooner. I for one, am a bit sadden by this news. I mean honestly we all pretty much knew that Nazo was Super Sonic or at least another super form that sonic was going to take on. But the feeling of not knowing. Of the ability to add your own story to this blank sheet character was something great that is now kind of gone. Now I'm not saying the fan creations will die off. I'm sure Nazo Unleashed 2 will still come to a realization. But I feel with the obtaining of this knowledge, we actually lost something of greater value.
