No. 6 Navy women's lacrosse defeated No. 13 Army, 17-11, to capture the program's eighth Patriot League title on Saturday evening at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.

Sophomore Alyssa Chung scored five goals in the final to earn Patriot League Tournament MVP honors.

The Midshipmen now await their seed in next week's NCAA Tournament. The Selection Show is Sunday night at 9 pm ET on ESPNU.
