On a submarine, these Sailors perform two fundamental functions on the vessel—navigation and communication. As an ETV, you are responsible for all the systems that tell you where you are in the ocean. Radar, periscopes, strategic navigation systems—all are operated and maintained by you. An ETR, on the other hand, is responsible for communications on and off the ship. Receiving messages, tasking, email—any link within the ship or to the outside world comes through the ETRs. See if you have what it takes to communicate and navigate in the deep at bit.ly/33MSw9v.
