I really love getting tracks like Ashes of the Lotus that have such an awesome theme and really stick to it throughout, props to Kagen for this one. Kagen is all about creating bass music of all genres with beautiful melodic motifs that really defines his production style. Really enjoyed this one and also made me want to watch Overwatch cinematics (whilst trying not to cry).

Viskus & Astral Descent go 100% mad with this Mor£ remix crafting an entirely fresh backdrop for MIK to display his trademark lyrical cheek and mastery of flow. What a nasty combination! The original track has such a sublime instrumental, allowing lots of beathing room for MIKs vocals to cut through, but this remix hits so hard it totally transforms the tune into pure hostility. Got another awesome tune for you today from Keir Craxton, this ones called Fooling Me and its another catchy track that will get a few repeats on the ol playlist. Vocals are huge on this one for me, what a hook. Combing that with Keirs trademark soul/funk feel and youve got another winner in my books. Cant get enough of this one. Keir composed Fooling Me to be an upbeat summer dance anthem with his use of dreamy chords, airy vocals and trademark funky basslines. Missions accomplished good sir, well done.

Hop in the submersible were going for a deep explore today with Wunderfish and his track Abandoned Artifacts. The Honolulu based Wunderfish a.k.a. Jason Umino traded out of the conventional office life in 2014 and went full time into his passion. After moving into the studio he quickly got to work stacking up releases including a full-length album, EP, original soundtracks and a handful of singles. When hes not grinding it out in the studio Wunderfish can be found making a difference in his local music scene teaching after-school programs across Hawaii and organizing the Honolulu Ableton group. Yah love to see it.

Got a great reflection piece for you to check out from Kid Fiction called, At The Mall. I really enjoyed the mood and message while listening this, challenging us to confront the monotony of everyday life. It really spun me into some deep philosophical thought as I tried to focus on what there really is once we peel back all the distractions. We cant forgot about the awesome sound design and care taken with all the other elements of this track, truly a masterwork in thought exercises. Let me know is this one made you feel unsettled or a bit weird. Got the strange feels myself similar to watching a cerebral anime.
