In Part 1 of this 4-part series, we arrive in Africa, get acquainted with the airplanes that will carry us across the adventures, and begin a journey unlike anything we’ve ever done before.
For the next month, we’ll be traveling the way we know best: by small airplane. But this trip is about much more than flying. We came to experience Africa from the ground as much as from the air — the landscapes, wildlife, food, people, culture, remote places, and everything that happens when you venture well outside the familiar.
