About the video:
The current topic of the European Society for the Philosophy of Religion Conference 2026 is on the metaphysical turn and the revival of metapysics in the philosophy of religion. Given my work on the problem of evil and meta-theodicy, I thought it would be interesting to explore the implications of the metaphysical turn in the problem of evil and the criticisms of this turn. I discuss anti-theodicy, the history of the problem of evil, as well as briefly touch on my forthcoming paper on Kant-inspired sceptical theism.
