Come take a look at our Navaratri Golu display at our Home. I continued this family tradition after the birth of my daughter.
Navaratri in Sanskrit mean 9 nights. The predominant dieties for these festivities is the worship of Goddess Lakshmi (Goddess of Fortune), Goddess Saraswathi (for learning and knowledge) and Goddess Durga (for strength and Valor).
We love to celebrate this festival and this also gives us an occasion to invite many Swiss and expat Indian friends and socialize in addition to getting some spiritual benefits.
