I made a cinematic soundtrack sequel to my piece 'Beautiful World', using that same lead violin. I chose the name 'nature documentaries be like:' for this composition, because, for some reason, nature docs are unnecessarily epic and emotional lol. I focused on the violin and cello, making both much louder -- using a call-and-answer structure between both. The piano uses the same motif, and only builds either in lower/higher registers or with some notes added (after the build-up). It’s a sort of modern classical piano piece, with the orchestral backing of a more modern piece (I also added a synthesizer called Sakura, which is a FL Studio 21 default to add some warmth and depth to the song). I put the synthesizer ONLY in the reverb bus, making the reverb thicker and warmer, (hopefully) without muddying up the rest of the composition.
I used FL Studio automation (tempo and volume). Piano is Native Instruments' NOIRE Pure. Violin is a sample or vst from Alpine Project (violin long 1). String ensemble are the Cinematic Strings. Cello is the Tina Guo Cello by Cinesamples. I also added atmospheric, ambient plucked piano strings in the background. Mixing & mastering with Valhalla VintageVerb, Fruity Reeverb 2, Soundgoodizer, iZotope Ozone 6 & oeksound soothe2.
