Recently we shared some info and screenshots from Citadelum talking about the military training and its buildings, and today we want to share our second #Citadevlog talking about the natural resources in our indie game and how to get and use them.
It is time to discover the treasures that our land has to offer and how to obtain them for the benefit of our glorious republic. Wise management is key to success and prosperity.
For example, there will be animal farms, where we will supply our food needs and more. From pigs and chickens to cows, these farms are the source of various essential products for our population. We will obtain food such as meat, eggs and milk.
Next, there will be sawmills, where we will transform sturdy treest into wood, providing the raw material necessary for construction and other projects. We will find forests scattered across the map where our lumberjacks will work.
Other example are quarries, where we extract stone and iron, which are crucial for building solid structures and manufacturing weapons and tools for our defense and progress. There will be natural deposits on the map, where we should place our quarries.
In addition, there will be wells, watermills and aqueducts, which are our vital source of water and irrigation for our lands, mainaining them in good condition is crucial to ensuring a water supply for our population and crops.
One more thing are mills, the agricultural production cener where we seed and harves crops. Our farmers work into keeping the crops healthy and strong. For example to make bread, flax for clothes, a variety of vegetables, grapes for wine or medicinal plants.
Lastly, there will be docks which are gateways to the riches of the sea and rivers. We will fish a variety of fish that provide fresh food for ttrade or the consumption.
With intelligent management and diligent work, we can make the most of the natural resources of Citadelum to ensure our growth and prosperity. Get ready to build, expand, trade and honor the gods in our upcoming indie game!
