The war on drugs is an unmitigated disaster, and libertarians love their drugs. Luckily the folks over at Natural Medicine Colorado are fighting back against the drug war. Kevin Mathews and Veronica Perez came by to tell us about their activism around plant medicine and the work they're doing with the Natural Medicine Health Act, a statewide ballot measure that provides a legal access program for Coloradans to heal with the assistance of natural medicines and removes criminal penalties for the personal usage of natural medicines. The measure was on the ballot for Coloradans to vote on this November that works to help people suffering from mental illness through a hybrid approach of legalizing and decriminalizing psilocybin, psilocin, ibogaine, mescaline, and dimethyltryptamine across the entire state. We had a great event where we learned all about drugs!
