“The science is in” from modern cognitive science showing us precisely, unambiguously, how we have been unintentionally harming our natural intelligence and reveals the mechanisms for how this harm acts as a generator function of the meta-crises.
The problem at hand is to attempt to adapt or re-imagine existing systems and structures in such a way that addresses the sources of harm to natural intelligence while preserving human tacit knowledge across domains.
The great news is the pathway to reveal these adaptations and re-imaginings is simple to understand and straightforward to implement.
In this series, we will start with a brief overview of natural intelligence and summarize the nature of the adaptations and re-imaginings, then we will spend the bulk of the series diving into key domains in need of adaptation and/or re-imagining such as information technology, education, psychotechnology, management and governance processes and more.
Each meeting will be ~1 hour presentation followed by 30-60 minutes of discussion/QA.
Optional Background:
We go over our main assertions that the breakdown of natural intelligence is the root generator function of the meta-crises in this Stoa talk youtube.com/watch?v=0QBlH3g-gZ0&t=0s And we provide a full background on natural intelligence in our Natural Intelligence 101 series inqwire.io/content/natural-intelligence-101--how-to-win-the-race-against-insanity. Feedback on both is welcomed here: inqwire.io/contact
