How should Christians understand the will of God as it relates to suffering and evil, or pandemics such as COVID-19? Rather, he reminds us that the only way we can discern God's will is from God's word, and that whenever we are faced with communal adversity we have an opportunity to live self-sacrificially instead of self-centered lives.
