National Village Museum of Bucharest has a massive collection of wooden buildings from all over Romania in the olden days. Our tour guide, Bogdan Ioan Iuga, assistant manager of Socio-Cultural Foundation for Democracy, introduced particular wooden houses of different area and educated us the meaning of different motifs on buildings, including solar motif, wolf's teeth, tree of life, etc.
