A hidden gem set in peaceful grounds, Modern Two may be slightly off the beaten track but it is home to world-class art and exhibitions. Whether you wind your way along the Water of Leith or head down from Princes St, this gallery offers a tranquil escape in picturesque grounds. As well as temporary exhibitions, visitors can also enjoy permanent installations, including a detailed recreation of Eduardo Paolozzi’s studio and 2009 Turner Prize winner Richard Wright’s The Stairwell Project . Modern Two also welcomes visitors to the Print Room and Library and Archive, which are open to the public by appointment. The gallery building looks out over stunning sculptural works by Dan Graham and Nathan Coley.
