National Faith and Blue Weekend 2024 events officially kick off Friday.

Faith and Blue Weekend was started by civil rights leader Reverend Markel Hutchins with the Department of Justice. The focus of the event is to heal police-community relations.

This is the fourth year of the event in the District.
