Hope you'll enjoy my piano version of the national anthem of Norway!
The Norges nasjonalsang is titled "Ja, vi elsker dette landet", which translates to "Yes, we love this country".
With the sheet music above, you get an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the beautiful anthem.
It makes for a wonderful solo piece, but of course, you can also use this arrangement to accompany singers!
Composed by Rikard Nordraak (with lyrics written by his cousin Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson, who received the 1903 Nobel Prize in Literature), the piece was considered the country's national anthem for many years, but was only officially adopted in 2019.
A fantastic European anthem to play on the piano!
