Warner Baxter won the Academy Award as best actor for his role as the Cisco Kid in the Fox film "In Old Arizona." The role of Tonia was played by Dorothy Burgess and the role of Sergeant Mickey Dunn was played by Edmund Lowe. The film was billed as the first outdoor talking picture. The title song is sung by Baxter during the opening credits and was a re-occurring theme throughout the movie.

My Tonia, with your dark eyes dancing,
My Tonia, with your smile entrancing.
Though your kisses are divine,
Still I wonder if you're mine.
Oh sometimes, I adore you madly,
And sometimes, I could leave you gladly.
You swear love undying,
Still my heart keeps crying.,
Tonia, are you really mine?
