Welcome to the science of space channel today we are gonna talk about an exoplanet.
Astronomers have discovered a planet outside our Solar System named Gliese 581c. This planet is in the Gliese 581 star system which is 20 light-years away from the Earth in the libra constellation. The planet was discovered in 2007 using the radial velocity method of detection. It is the third planet in order from its host star and comes after Gliese 581e and Gliese 581b.
