The Dragon spacecraft has separated from the Falcon 9’s second stage and is flying on its own. The spacecraft is traveling at approximately 17,500 miles per hour (28,200 kilometers per hour). NASA's SpaceX Crew-11 NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov launched aboard the spacecraft and SpaceX Falcon 9 at 11:43 a.m. EDT Aug. 1, 2025, from Launch Complex 39A from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
