NASA made a video game that nobody has ever heard of. Moonbase Alpha released in 2010 and inspired by the Artemis lunar missions I decided to see what it was all about.
Artemis 2 recently flew around the moon and I was inspired to look for space games and I stumbled across this video game that NASA made to try and educate people or interest them in science and space exploration.
Moonbase Alpha is a strange game and in this video I explore the game and what it was and how it came to be.
Moonbase Alpha is a simulation game based on moon base programs. It was made by the Army Game Studio in conjunction with NASA Learning Technologies.
