NASA’s newest rover, Perseverance, recorded audio of its wheels crunching over the surface of the Red Planet, adding a whole new dimension to Mars exploration.
This 16 minutes of sounds from Perseverance’s 90-foot drive on March 7, 2021, were captured by Perseverance’s microphone. The audio was released on March 17, 2021.
