You need to share data on your network but you don't know if you should buy a plug and play ready NAS system from i.e. QNAP, or build your own with FreeNAS, Nas4Free or unRaid?
I faced the same question when I built my own NAS just a few weeks ago. So in this video I will explain the differences between JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5 and RAID 6. And tell you why I decided to use non of them in my NAS. ;-)
