This piece is adapted from the Chinese orchestral piece 童年的回憶 (Childhood Memories) composed by 盧亮輝 (Lu Liang Hui). This version is specially arranged by our alumni Tai Jing Ning for the concert, and under the direction of our resident conductor Mr Mike Chiang, this piece envisions memories. Whether the memories are happy or sad, positive or negative, the memories that you obtain in life will be invaluable to you and you alone.

Music is always evolving with the coming of the new age. However, we can't forget to look back at our classic traditional music that brought us to where we are today! As such, blending traditional Chinese music and modern pop, a meeting between old and new, a Synthesis.
