(Nansei Project belongs to LENK64, a.k.a. Miki Hiroyuki. I'm not related in any way to the project nor the team behind these masterpieces; I'm just a fan. Characters and music belong to LENK64)
Song: Nocturnal Wind Gust ~ Storm Path (Track 04, Stage 2 theme)
Composer: LENK64
Original from: Nansei 04 - Night Creatures in a Mansion
And we've finally arrived to the (technically) first Nansei game. Here we meet a terrifying figure, the Orwellian satori Totte Mitsumete. Big sister is watching you indeed. She might seem a bit derivative (similar appearance to Satori Komeiji, serious youkai, etc.) but her characterization is way different, so I don't see her as a Komeiji clone.
Anyways, this is one of my favorite soundtracks from Nansei, rivalling Autumnal Mythology (7) and only surpassed by Border of Heaven (7.5) and Expressive Illumination (13). So I had a hard time deciding which track would be better to represent NCM. However, I had a big motive to choose this over, say, the Stage 1 theme...
The fact that I wanted to make a link to another of my favorite artists! Karasu (nowadays known as Mirrorscape due to, apparently, some internet drama) is one of the best discoveries I've done lately in my navigation on the seas of YouTube and it'd be neat if you checked on him/her too. And s/he is one of the few artists who has made a Nansei arrange, and a fantastic one at that :3 Check it here:

That one has also some neat violin in addition. Makes me happy. :3
Anyways, take a peek at Mirrorscape too. You won't regret it :3
Back on topic, I like this kind of "nocturnal" songs. Maybe it's the reason of my love for Imperishable Night. Or maybe it's because Mokou. Oops, going off-topic again.
I thought at some point of using Totte's theme for NCM, but I like the Border of Heaven version better, to be honest, and, as I said, I wanted to use this theme for something. Ehehe~
This time I'm not too content with how the faux-jewel case turned out, but I couldn't reproduce my original envisioning of it faithfully. I used some CC photos which I'll reference soon, but not now because it's late and I want to sleep. Tomorrow I'll add the proper credits.
EDIT: For Totte's silhouette I used this photo of Alcatraz by Daniel Ramirez: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Alcatraz_-_Inside_the_Main_Cellhouse_%284409974876%29.jpg?uselang=es
For the eye, I used this image: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Eagle%28owl%29-eye_-_modified.JPG?uselang=es by Woodwalker and Poxnar.
The mansion depicted is the one from this photo: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mansion_Night.jpg?uselang=es (by Clix69) after some messing with colors.
The eye patterns (hard to notice due to jpeg compression) are drawn by me.
Now I gotta do this for the other videos... laziness...

Enjoy! (Time to sleep for me...)
