Creative burnout is real… Honestly? I’m struggling in the sixth week of my Nanowrimo project – my energy’s low, I keep writing and rewriting the same sentences, and I’ve even been struggling to focus and write in my day job. The worst part? I’m still writing the battle scene THAT WOULD NEVER END!

So I’m taking a week-long break after this (potentially longer, depending on how I feel in a week), which is desperately needed.

This week, though:
00:00 – December 7th – 3,293 words! Am I back on track?
04:14 - December 8th – 1,300 words, still optimistic
09:57 - December 9th – 980 words, the downward spiral begins 😭
12:22 - December 11th – 1,838 words, maybe there’s still hope?
16:12 - December 12th – Nope, all hope is lost. I only wrote 244 words, and am now 7,036 words behind 😅
