Nancy Animata is a life sized automaton made in c.1920.
In her first ever interview she reveals something of her rich and complex life, far beyond the norm for a machine.
Everything in this video is true.

This video was made by Maria & Michael Start with Nelly the dog at The House of Automata in Scotland. Due to mechanical limitations Nancy's voice is supplied by Maria with an authentic localised accent found in the Marais district of Paris.
