This video is a companion video to the Anyway video (youtube.com/watch?v=v1TF0KmYRAo).

Where the Anyway video was Ace's POV, this is entirely Nancy's. The video's are in dialogue. In the Anyway video it's Ace knowing something's wrong even though she can't tell him what. I wanted to explore the fact that Ace thinks Nancy might be afraid of loving him and of the emotions that she feels. He thinks that's the reason she's pushing him away. It's Ace telling Nancy: no matter what, I will be there for you.

This video is Nancy's experience and answer in a way. She's telling Ace that she does love him but it's not that she's afraid of her feelings ("I think forming deep attachments takes a lot of courage"), but that there is something wrong -- even though she can't tell him what. I think some of the plot in the episodes reflect that as well which is why I incorporated those into the video. My hope is that after watching both, the way you experience the end of the videos ("I'll just tell you that there's nothing to be afraid of") changes depending on which video you watch.

Anyway (ha), I hope this makes sense and, even if it doesn't, I hope the editing still makes your heart hurt.
