Deadviei may be the most photographed spot in Namibia and it should definitely be on everyone's must visit list. A dead lake or pan surrounded by giant red sand dunes, the white clay former lake bed also has the twisted skeletal remains of trees that once lived here, some as long as 900 year ago.
