Totally inspired by ContentIsolation. She made this video to me during a very hard time in which I was in the hospital and said this song really fits me; and I fell in love with it. It's kind of been our song ever since, and it really hits me hard in the feels. I love it really much, which is why this is dedicated to her ♥ Love you Content, you're awesome!

So this is a vent kind of thing, I didn't put much thought into it but it is extremely personal.

In a way, Neverland and Peter Pan represent fantasy, when you don't really feel like reality is good anymore and you find a escape in your dreams and imagination; just wishing you could sleep and never wake up. I've felt like that my entire life, the world and reality stopped impassioning me a long time ago.

I seldom use Nala in vents, in fact I barely use Nala in videos when compared to other TLK characters and I should use her more often. Although it may not feel like it I adore her. She's one of my favorite characters ever, for several reasons, and my favorite from TLK. I used her in this because of how much I love and relate to this song, because Nala has become part of my personality and I can't really separate myself from her anymore. Yep, that's how much I relate to her, so it only felt right to use her for this song.

There isn't really a storyline, but if you're confused that's the basics:

Nala is lonely and she feels sad, confused or bored most of the time. One night as she goes to sleep, she has this dream where she meets Peter Pan (Kovu) and has the best time with him in Neverland, for once having fun and feeling like she belongs. But yeah, it's all just a dream. Eventually she'll come back to reality.

Some other personal stuff you don't really need to read:

Nowhere to go and no place to call home - I don't know where I'm going from here, and while my home doesn't feel like home anymore because I have to leave it, I don't see myself anywhere but here. It's weird.

The man in the moon/He'd go away too - That's a popular tale here where I live. My mom used to tell me about the man in the moon when I was very little, according to her stories it was a soldier who constantly fights a dragon who wants to take the moon. When the soldier is losing the moon disappears, and when he's winning it's back in the sky. So yeah, that part of the song hits me really hard.

Peter Pan - Ever since I can remember Peter Pan has been a huge part of my life; both the Disney movies and the books. It was my grandmother's favorite classic so I watched it a lot with her. It was one of the first books I read and it definetely made me the bookworm I am today. So I love anything about him or Neverland, and I remember I wished I could go there because it felt much better than this world.

Those are some of the reasons why I love this song so much and why I relate to it so well. Like I said this is a vent, but it was more to express myself than to say I'm sad, because ever since I was a kid I have this thing of imagining a better life. I run away from reality, even when I shouldn't.
It's hard to live in a reality you don't like, don't relate to. It's hard to be able to run away in dreams and have such a fun time and then come back to this. Still you go by day by day and manage to have some happiness and fun here too, in my case with my friends and editing. Still, I'll always run away from most of reality, whishing great part of my life/myself was different.

I don't really know how to explain and I've said too much already, just enjoy this. Hope you like it!
