The following is a DJ set made with tracks produced as live sessions on my iPad over the last several weeks.

The sound centers around progressive house but has elements of melodic techno, retrowave, and dub, as well as downtempo and organic pieces. I used a hybrid setup consisting of iPad-based software synths, effects, and sequencers along with my Korg Volca Keys, nylon string guitar, and Native American flute. I mixed the tracks in Ableton Live and used Traktor Pro 3 to perform the set.

For anyone interested in exploring iPad music making, I highly recommend the following apps: AUM, World Synth, King of FM, Viking Synth, Ruismaker and the Rozeta suite, Fugue Machine, Indian Drummer, Eventide Black Hole Reverb, Kosmonaut Delay, Koala Effects, and RoughRider 3 Compressor.
