An important aspect that often gets overlooked when we're discussing mould detox protocols is highlighted by the organic acid test. Many of these mould affected patients are struggling to synthesise sufficient levels of glutathione. Consider supplementation with liposomal glutathione but keep in mind that it can be highly reactivity and poorly tolerated in some. Initial doses should be conservative, as some individuals might not tolerate it well.
A bunch of mould affected people come to me already supplementing with NAC as a good cheap precursor to glutathione but I have concerns around the conversion of NAC down to glutathione here. There is some evidence to show that the GCL enzyme (glutamate-cysteine ligase) gets downregulated with mycotoxins in the body.
In the context of mycotoxin-related mold exposure, the effectiveness of this approach might be reduced.
