Na’aleh, in western Binyamin, is home to a mixed Israeli population. Yoav Kleinman, a serious officer in the IDF reserves, describes his growing community and the values of hard work and acceptance of all that have come to define it. Over 2000 years ago the spirited Maccabees left oil and grape presses for us to find in the area; proof of their agricultural endeavors between battles and building independence.
