Sun Rises (Nightwatch Series) [original cinematic music]

Elias Frost 2023-04-14 | "Sun Rises" - is a Princess Celestia theme. When she was obsessed with the power and became -Doomslayer- Daybreaker.

I still exploring the unknown (for me) trailer music territories. In this track I tuned my mandolin as a dulcimer (ee-E-B) and played it with a violin bow to get that modern "Dark Fantasy" vibe. It's cool since Daybreaker is literally a queen and her theme should sound majestic yet horrific and almost savage (her power went out of control).

Nightwatch is a series of instrumental tracks and songs about Princess Luna, Starswirl and Celestia in the time of the old world.

Tourdion des Licornes [Stories Vol. I 2022remake]

Elias Frost 2021-09-05 | The 3rd track from the upcoming album "Stories Vol. I" [2022 remake].
I think it's the most historically accurate track I've done so far: it's based on a popular Burgundian dance "Tourdion" from the 15th century.

"The integral part of the coronation event is a traditional unicornian dance - Tourdion des Licornes.
Chancellor Puddinghead is so impressed to see this rare performance, she can't keep aloof and joins Platinum in dance."

Coronation Day [Stories Vol. I 2022 remake]

Elias Frost 2021-08-30 | The Story Continues with the 2nd Track from the upcoming album "Stories Vol. I [2022 remake]"!

The Day of Coronation. The most important day in Platinum’s life and the crucial day for the Union. Since such a big change in the Kingdom caused anxiety among the allies.
Starswirl is assured about Platinum’s abilities to lead the people to a brighter and greater future. “Just… don’t declare a war on the first day and people will follow you”.
Chancellor Puddinghead arrived to support the new leader. Her Secretary was pretty convincing about the goods of being friends with powerful sorcerers of the Kingdom rather than being enemies… although Chancellor would have given Platinum her support anyway - just for the sake of curiosity.
Her Majesty notices that there are neither Commander Hurricane nor his representatives nor anyone from the Sky Legio among the guests. Platinum sees true disrespect in such behaviour. But Puddinghead says - "The skies are clear - there's no reason for concern, and also, Hurricane doesn't like sorees, especially the ones without cider."

Bedtime Stories (Vol. I Main Theme) [2022 remake]

Elias Frost 2021-08-01 | Here we go with something unexpectable:)

Back in 2017, I released “Stories Vol. I” EP. It was cool but I had limited experience in making Soundtrack’y music, so I decided to remake/recompose/extend both Stories Vol. I and Vol. II before the release of the conclusion of the trilogy - “Stories Vol. III”.

This time the story will be clearer and more focused on the characters and their relationships/conflicts/etc.

“Bedtime Stories” - is the opening theme.
The night before the ceremony. Sleepless Platinum is roaming the Royal Garden. She is nervous - she is not ready for the most important day in her life.
She’s almost afraid of taking the responsibility for her people.
Platinum tries to calm down, maybe nothing bad would happen - “I can’t ruin the Kingdom on my first day, right?”.
Then Clover, her servant, comes out from a distance. She tries to convince Platinum that every living creature in this land will obey her orders no matter what, but their support should be gained by her deeds and a fair reign in general… - “And, also Starswirl will be helping your highness for sure! It’s hard to blow up the Kingdom all alone on the first day, right?”
Platinum’s getting nervous even more.

Stories: Intermezzo [Full-Album]

"Stories: Intermezzo" continues the series of cinematic/orchestral music, heavily inspired by the My Little Pony events and characters.
This part of Stories is more focused on individual character themes (unlike the previous two).
As far as you might know, I haven't actually introduced some quite important characters to the Stories. I did Celestia/Luna theme first...and now I'm here with my first LP. I constantly explore new genres/styles and Intermezzo is a result of my adventures. Since each song carries its own story, I was free to go as epic or creepy or experimental as I wanted without doing damage to the overall concept:)
