[Black MIDI] Daydreaming On A Summer Beach - 41k (Abandoned Project) Alexander Verevkin 2021-08-23 | Hello everyone. Remember the long video called "Abandoned projects that no one asked for"? It was ending with a glimpse of melody i called "Hawaiian beach". As you guessed it you are watching it right now. This mostly was, and in fact still is a generally preserved cast of my emotional state in the late 2019. I did work on improving various parts of the melody later, but most of the time every next iteration i had to firstly revert most of the changes back, because most of them sounded dumb to say the least. So, that's mostly why i was delaying this project for so long. And it still came out quite unblackable ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I planned on releasing one of 3 ongoing projects this summer. I had to choose which one - this one or one of 2 others, which concepts i considered quite dumb to waste time on. There are tons of material about it, yet nobody thought about it in the following way. What if new pendulums would spawn in the forming gaps between two diverging pendulums? Well, turns out you'll get tons of pendulums and bleeding gpu/cpu... [[Black MIDI || Christmas Special]] Jingle Bells At The End Of Time Alexander Verevkin 2020-12-24 | THE ONLY THING TO KEEP IN MIND WHILE LISTENING:The music is supposed to forget itself during the playback.=========================================This was a terrible year by all means, let's sum it up with terrible piece.=========================================Short story of its creation:I guess it was summer of 2018 when it's all began. I had an idea of "Evil jingle bells" remix, but all what i've could get - was just the original song but in minor key. I was visiting it from time to time, adding some notes, and leaving just to come back later and repeat it again and again. After quite a bit of time "The Caretaker" project hit me, when half of melody's draft was done. And by "hit" - i mean it. Like a bus on full speed. Many months after that (as my mind was set back to quite stable state) - the idea of merging "evil" Jingle Bells with decaying nature of EATEOT was born.Its execution i'd rather leave behind the scenes. Though it's still quite sad that i couldn't take more time to polish it. =========================================This piece was specifically designed in a specific way, to look and sound just alien enough to disturb you a bit, but not too far into the creepiness to look like a complete garbage. I could use much more interesting art, but that could ruin the balance. Though, I might've gone with everything else a little bit too far...I personally DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO PLAY THE MIDI WITH ART, it starts to look trippy at the end. Blacking became for me a literal hell, since it takes quite a long time to tune to melody's atmosphere. Even though my friends told me that this melody is quite catchy, i still think it's not good enough to spent time on it. And i found a tiny little bit of inspiration in Eta Carinae (sounds quite stupid imo xd) and right after finishing "Peaceless" i had like 50 second long song about it.Then i figured out that continuing this piece is quite... harder than i thought. I've abandoned it for a while til winter started... I've been retrying to black it again and again, but there was no progress...That was a middle of January when i've involved my friend Z{}P (Zhekan4ik Play) and he helped me in a bit and for the first time after the middle of December i got a real progress at this. Then i also asked Eddywaltz for some help. And he literally made everything waaaay better than it was :) At the mid of February song was finally finished, but still not blacked. And i've abandoned it again for a while, since i got an idea of "RUINED".and i wanted to finish it before fading inspiration.Finally... The end of the summer. And just got a thought. What if the range will chage during the song? But instead of "bursting" in width, the range will collapse into enormously small "point". Like if we had a sign of limit above the midi, and i let its width of range converge to zero. xd The inspiration wasn't strong, so imo it's not a so good. It could be waaaaaay better, but i'm busy ass and i don't have that much time for waiting inspiration to come .w.===========================I just couldn't find anything like fires or clouds in Vegas, so i decided to make these fires on keyboard with using a shitton of effects. Except BlackHawk 580 and some others persons. :(Hawky, yur BA Hero mode made it unopenable in every midi player, so i had to cut it from there. I'm so sorry that i couldn't fix it. ===========OUTDATED INCORRECT INFO=============A few weeks ago (at the end of may) Carlos probably found a new limit in PFA while loading TN3 F3 & F2. PFA fails to load midis bigger than 2GB. The notecount in such big midis is't (from roughly 240 million to 326 million notes with running status) - therefore theres no EXACT note limit. Also, time of loading grows exponentially while approaching said limit. Red Zone 220M doesn't get any influence from this effect (the time of loading is similar to expected). Meanwhile this one is almost impossible to load. Cause to it is it's size (only a few Megabytes smaller than 2Gb). But if you have a couple of terabytes of RAM and pretty powerful overclocked i9 cpu, you could load it (by my calculations it's gonna take roughly 40 hours or more). I can reassure you about validity of this MIDI file as I read by myself EVERY event in EVERY track in a WHOLE MIDI, and here is no corruptions. Do not ask why or how it's possible. I'm just sick man. .-.
