While waiting for a delayed flight from Geneva, I took the opportunity to film a selection of aircraft arrivals at Bristol Airport. This video captures a varied line-up of airlines operating into BRS, with the airport’s bird-scaring systems audible in the background, adding to the atmosphere of a busy day on the airfield.

CEEFAX: Ceefax was the world’s first teletext information service and a forerunner of the BBC Red Button service. Launched by the BBC in 1974, it continued until 23 October 2012, when it closed as part of the UK digital switchover. Viewers selected pages by entering a three-digit number on a Ceefax-capable receiver, then waited a few seconds for the page to be transmitted and displayed on screen.
