This is a glitch I found today in the MS DOS game "Mystic Towers". In the game there is a switch you can use that opens a door and closes another one. By bringing up the save or the load screen at the right time, you can keep both doors open. After doing that, you can no longer use the switch so the only thing you can do is save your game and restart. On the loaded savegame, both doors will now be open and the switch will just close them both or open them both from now on. The 2nd thing I show in the video is that when you bring up the save or load screen (so the switch no longer works) the game will become glitched. I started a new game and it just kept opening and closing random doors. The goal door would sometimes open so I could just walk through it completing the first tower in 0 minutes.
I don't know if this can be used throughout the whole game.. Also, the video shows the first point in the game where you can do the glitch (apparently), which happens to be tower W1 (the 7th tower out of 12 total, which is kind of late in a speedrun perspective). But maybe it could mean that a TAS or speedrun of this game would end up only having 7 towers instead of 12.
Unfortunately, The DOS TAS emulator JPC-rr is really damn slow and I don't know how to use it. Nobody seems to want to explain to me how to use the mouse cursor when making a TAS. And DOSbox-rerecording is said to be really unstable...
