The students of Average Heights Middle School hated Tuesdays. Throughout the week, the cafeteria would cycle through variations on what the school could afford, which was a questionable substance legally classified as “meat”.

Whether it be tacos, meatloaf, casserole, meatloaf casserole, most days, at least it could be picked around.

But no amount of ketchup could save what was referred to as “mystery meat day”.
