When held stationary, this ball appears to glow with a white light. When spun in a circle by the cord, one can see the white light separate into blinking red, blue and green LEDs. Fascinating to watch in the dark. Great for reinforcing that white light can be produced by mixing three colors of light. Advanced classes can relate to the three different retinal color receptors in the back of the eye and the persistence of vision.
