Director Michael Sarne gives his commentary and basically defends his position and accuses Gore of the dog having a gay agenda and says he was trying to find a way of filming a novel without the propaganda,but what's always being undermined and he calls co-writer David Giler's contributions superfluous and doesn't even deign to refer to him by name!
