The pro sound world knows the Sony MDR-7506 headphones as the most commonly used headphones used to monitor audio. Unfortunately they are only available in an over ear version but what if you want to maintain the same mix but switch to inner ear monitors? Enter... Myna!
Myna birds are known for their ability to mimic sounds and Myna IEMs mimic the sound of headphones they are modeled after. Their first model is the M7506 or Myna 7506 so named because it's modeled to mimic the sound of the Sony MDR-7506 headphones.
In this video we're going to go behind the scenes at the Myna IEM production facility in Nashville, TN to see how they are made and then I'll be giving them a listen followed by my opinion.
