It seems I lied to you on accident.

It was Writer's Digest that hosts the list of writing contest / prompts I was so fond of, not Reader's Digest:

For what it's worth, I asked the internet for Reader's Digest writing competitions, and it gave me a link I can't make heads or tales out of (pun of "tales" not initially intended, but I left it in there, so I guess it's a semi-premeditated act at this point).
