Volume Up. Wheel Bearing went out at the 10 second mark, and got very loud at the 18 second mark. When it happened I was under the assumption that it was a car next to me that had noisy exhaust. It was only after I started passing people when I noticed the pitch of the noise went up as my speed went up, and also went down when I slowed down.
As a driver that was the moment that I started getting worried about what broke and how much it would cost me. I took it to the shop a few days later and they got it all fixed up for a few hundred dollars, when I thought it would cost thousands. It's always difficult to stay calm under pressure like this when your natural response is to panic.
