I'm still thinking about the time my Valve Index had an unsettling moment with 'ghost tracking'! I was enjoying the passthrough feature, thinking it was cool to see my surroundings, when the headset tracked a phantom spot on the ground that wasn't actually there. Safe to say, I immediately turned it off! What would you do if your VR headset started tracking things that weren't real?
