Two real stories. No inflated claims.
I'm a self-employed photographer and filmmaker based in Phuket, Thailand. Over the past two years I've worked extensively with AI inside my actual workflow, not in theory, not in demos. This video is about what I found.
Story one: 142 factory worker portraits. China. Delivered by morning for a board meeting. A job that was physically impossible to retouch by hand, and what happened when I stopped treating that as a wall.
Story two: a workflow problem I'd accepted as permanent. No coding background. A small app built with ChatGPT that I eventually sold for $5. Not because of the money, because someone else needed it too.
The honest conclusion from both: AI meets you exactly at the level of clarity you bring to it. It cannot replace judgment that took years to build. But if you understand your own process precisely enough to describe it, it will execute inside that process in ways that weren't possible before.
There's a lot of noise on this topic, fear on one side, inflated promises on the other. The truth is somewhere in the middle. This is where I found it.
