I wish I could go back in time and hug her š I completely changed my lifestyle and wanted to find the healthiest version of myself both mentally and physically! This is NOT to say that my body was not beautiful in 2021, I believe every body size is beautiful.
I had high cholesterol, low vitamin D, low iron, and was not feeling my best physically or mentally. My anxiety and depression were at an all time high. I decided to make life changes so that I could feel better in the long run.
Working out lowers my anxiety significantly. The doctors told me I had a chemical imbalance and put me on an SSRI without helping me understand that gut health is also a factor in it. They did not inform me of how my body would hold water, and how difficult it would be to get off of the medication. I made the decision after 5 years, to completely get off of both birth control and Lexapro⦠thatās what was right for me. My body started really changing after that and I found myself on a soul level. š¦
⢠I started walking on the treadmill almost every day at an incline of 12 and 3.0-4.0 speed for 30 minutes.
⢠Started eating more protein, drinking lots of water, iām allergic to alc0h0l so no drinking obvi, making healthier choices for meals.
⢠Prioritized my mental health (mental affects physical)
⢠Made sure to eat 3 meals a day (I used to fast and then binge eat which is NOT ideal)
⢠Started doing yoga (now I do hot sculpted Yoga 3x a week)
⢠Learned to love my body no matter what size I was.
⢠Made it a goal to get out of the house more!
