A couple more things I might have missed:
Speedruning for PBs is an incredibly fun experience, especially as you're improving as a player early on.
It sets a standard you can continue to push and improve on, so I'd definitely recommend trying some speeds in various bosses such as:
- Corrupted Gauntlet
- Inferno
- ToA
In addition, the competitive experience prior to experiencing rng walls is super fun, having peers to both discuss and compete with makes for good friendships and good teammates outside of solo content.
At the end of the day, do the speeds you enjoy - if you're at the stage you're getting with ~1 minute of current records, you may notice rng becoming a defining factor. Until then it's all about improving!
