Here is my thoughts on Netlfix's animated series Castlevania.
For those who don't know Castlevania is an American adult animated web television series on Netflix produced by Frederator Studios. Based on the Japanese video game series of the same name by Konami
The Story?
When Lisa Tepes, a beloved wife of Vlad Tepes AKA Dracula is acused of witchcraft and burned at the stake by an overzealous bishop, Dracula declares war on the people of Wallachia and unleashes an army of murderous demonic creatures from Hell and to kill every humans on earth. Luckily, Trevor Belmont, last survivor of the Belmont clan, a disgraced family known for hunting all kinds of monsters, is still in town and agrees to take the fight to the lord of vampires, along with Alucard the son of Dracula and Lisa Tepes, and Sypha Belnades the granddaughter of the Elder of the Speakers, a group of nomad scholars, and a sorceress with control over the elements, as they defend the nation of Wallachia from Dracula and his minions.
The show is so fricking awesome the Animation is really good the story writing is amazing, the characters feel like real people even if there animated and this show is an amazing example of why animation is not just for kids.
Dracula is the villain I really love as a villain who lost his wife from the people for being accused of witchcraft and you can feel sympathy for him.
Trevor is a vampire hunter and the last descendant of the Belmont family, who were (wrongfully) exiled and excommunicated. I found really cool he's someone I can totally relate to because of the crap from any people and being all tuff, he can be a jerk but does have a good heart and tries his best to save people.
Sypha is a really good character who truly can't stand Trevor's bad boy attitude but does care for her people who have beeing accused by the Bishop for bringing the armies of Hell but we all know it was the Bishop who started Dracula's anger upon the entire village. Plus I do like how she does care for her people and also trying to save Wallachia from Dracula, even the Speakers stayed inside the city to help those in need. At some point, Sypha learned and mastered elemental magic. Even ending up being Trevor's lover.
Alucard (No not the one from Hellsing Ultimate) this Alucard the son of Dracula I love this characters he is also my favorite Hero (The main characters are my favorite heroes) He is sad and angry for what the people did to his mom but upon learning that Dracula had begun summoning an army from Hell, Alucard confronted his father, begging him not to kill innocent people for revenge. When Dracula refused to listen, Alucard fought his father but was defeated, leaving him with a large scar on his chest. Beneath the city of Gresit, Alucard placed himself inside a coffin to recover his strength. A legend about him then spread, stating that a "sleeping soldier" awaited beneath Gresit and that he would be met by a hunter and a scholar. That is until he meets both Trevor and Sypha.
So if you guy's haven't seen it I HIGHLY recommend seeing it on Netflix it is awesome, it's even on DVD.
